Becoming Magnetic — October 2026

Free webinar with Suzi Dafnis, Tuesday 27 October 2026, 10am AEDT · Growth Network founding-member offer · cart closes Friday 30 October, 11:59pm AEDT.

Compiled Wednesday 28 October 2026, 7:45am AEDT · All money in AUD · Every number sits next to the July 2026 run of the same webinar and, where July had them, the past Profitable Business Workshop (PBW) ranges — so it reads as better, worse or normal.

INTERIM — cart open until Friday 30 October, 11:59pm AEDT. Registrations, attendance, clicks and ad spend are final; members, revenue and conversion will be updated as payments land, and the report is finalised after cart close.

Summary

The campaign has delivered 101 registrations, 51 attendees, and 14 new Growth Network members on $2,011.39 of ad spend — with the cart open until Friday. Show-up (50%) and conversion on registrations (13.9%) are both ahead of July (40% and 7.2%).

Valued the same three ways as July: $518 in first payments, about $4,700 in expected first-year revenue, or about $10,400 over the cohort's lifetime at 95% monthly retention. (Gemma Egelton, who paid the day before the webinar through the evergreen path without registering, is excluded as not campaign-attributed — the same rule that excluded Jackie Campbell in July.)

What worked
  • Half the registrants turned up — 51 of 101 — against 40% in July and the PBW range of 9–27%. The room was smaller than July's but warmer.
  • The room bought on the spot: 7 of the 14 paid before Suzi had finished at 11:23, twelve were in by 11:57, and the afternoon and evening emails added two more the same day. July needed four days and the follow-up emails for seven of its twelve.
  • Email registrants showed up at 53% and ad registrants at 48% — the ad audience was far warmer than July's (26%).
Worth knowing
  • The ads made 5 members directly — Margy and Donna from "The 5 Qualities" again, Janice from a video, Christine from the carousel, Erin from the evergreen test — every one of them new to the list this month.
  • Registrations fell from 166 to 101 on the same spend: cost per ad registration rose from $20.44 to $32.97. The warm audience is tiring; the list did the rest.
  • 8 of the 14 came through email, and all but two had been with us for over a year — past campaigns paying off, as in July.
Considerations
  • 39 people attended and haven't joined — the follow-up list below is warm for about a week.
  • Three cart-close emails still to go. July's pattern says to expect more joins by Friday midnight; the July final-week sends are the benchmark in the Email section.
  • Whether the next run shifts budget from the tired warm audience toward genuinely new people.

Where the Click Counts Differ

Four systems watched this campaign and each counts something different. Same four as July; the pattern repeated almost exactly.

July for comparison: ads 90 registered / 26% showed up / 2 joined; email 61 / 48% / 4; six more joined via the webinar link. No social-organic or website registrations this time (July had three). "The 5 Qualities" won again, as it did in July (where it was Ad 4), and again produced two members. "Video 4" was the most efficient at scale ($26 per registration) and "Right clients" had the cheapest Meta leads but only three confirmed registrations. "Video 1" and "Video 3" never got enough budget to judge — though Video 3 produced Janice. Meta's 65 leads vs GHL's 50 ad-door registrations: Meta also claims people who saw an ad and registered later by another door, and includes view-through estimates. The GHL number is tied to actual contact records. 11 further ad-door registrations arrived through the July and evergreen campaigns' links.

The re-activation story was smaller this time: four existing contacts came back through an ad against ten in July, which is what a warm audience being re-shown the same offer looks like. The ad-to-email relay still ran: two of this month's email registrants were first created by Facebook ads in August. And Google Analytics tells the same aggregate story as July: 324 people arrived from the paid ads and 61 registered (19%), while 61 arrived from emails and 38 registered (62%) — the ads cast the wide net, and email converts the people who already know us.

The room filled fast — 40 by 10:10 — and then barely moved: it held between 40 and 42 for fifty minutes, so 41 of the 42-person peak heard the offer and 30 were still there at 11:20. July's room peaked higher (63) but leaked steadily, with 52 at the offer and 31 at the close. Median time in the room was 75 minutes; 35 of 51 stayed an hour or more and only 4 left inside fifteen minutes.

What the fourteen tell us: the pattern is July's, sharpened. 7 of the 14 came onto the list inside the campaign's own fortnight — all 5 ad-sourced members among them, plus Susan, who first arrived for July's webinar, and Carol, who arrived from a shared email on 21 October. The other 7 carried histories of a year to three years, built through downloads, workshops and summits, several of them planted by Facebook ads at the time. The difference from July is speed: every one of them paid on webinar day — twelve with the room still open or within half an hour of it closing, two more that afternoon and evening from the follow-up emails, without ever being in the room. Attending was again all but a precondition of joining. The 60 new ad-sourced registrants who didn't join this time are the most valuable thing this campaign banked — and the strongest argument for running the next one.

Considerations

For the next campaign

The live close worked — keep it. Every one of the 14 paid on the day and 7 with the room still open, against four in July; two more came from the same-day follow-up emails without attending. Whatever changed in how the offer and the deadline were put — do it again, and get the transcript exported so this report can time the offer exactly.

The warm audience is tiring. Same spend, same best ad, 39% fewer registrations and a cost per registration up from $20.44 to $32.97. The people who were going to register from the list and the warm audiences largely have. The next run needs a genuinely new audience tested from day one, not widened mid-flight.

Ads and emails are one system — again. Five members from this fortnight's ads, 8 from email, and two of this month's email registrants were planted by August's ads. The question is still whether $2,000 a campaign is the right size for the planting job, now that the harvest from the list is visibly thinning.

Check the registrant reminder audience. "This time tomorrow" and "LIVE NOW" reached 40–44 people against 101 registrations. If the workflow only catches people who registered before a cut-off, the late registrants — nearly a third of the total — never got a reminder.

Decide the evergreen rule. Erin registered for the evergreen webinar, came to the live one, and joined; Gemma paid through the evergreen path the day before and never registered. One is counted here, one isn't. Write the rule down before the next report.

Work the 39. The follow-up list above is current now; it won't be in a month.
